Quality is top priority at CR Laine.  A system of personal accountability in which each craftsperson signs off on individual tasks assures a high level of dedication to quality and service.  Time tested manufacturing techniques such as eight way hand tied springs and solid hardwood frames are used to make sure that each piece produced by CR Laine is just as solid and trouble-free as they are designed to be.

Frames of CR Laine upholstery and leather are made using 5/4” or thicker kiln-dried select hardwoods.  Each of the frames are doweled, glued, and block reinforced for rigidity and strength.  These steps will ensure that your furniture will withstand the everyday use called for by today’s family.

Seating construction is made of non-absorbent, odor-free polypropylene sheeting with steel bands giving extra support for the double-cone coil springs.  Springs are attached at the bottom and eight way hand tied at the top to prevent shifting, providing a firm and worry free seating surface.

Back construction varies depending on the application.  They are either polypropylene, sinuous wire, or individually sewn pocketed coils cinched together to form a marshall unit.  This is then padded and upholstered over in your choice of fabric, ensuring years of support and comfort.

Fabrics are cut and sewn carefully to the pattern of the furniture.  Each of the frames is then carefully upholstered by skilled craftspeople using time-honored techniques to tailor the cover to the frame.  Each of the steps involved make sure that the beauty and comfort of your new furniture will last for many years.
