Craftique

Craftique is a manufacturer of fine solid wood furniture based in Mebane, NC.  The philosophy of Craftique is centered on making the highest quality solid mahogany furniture in the industry.  Each piece is handmade by true craftspeople, to order, making each piece truly one of a kind.

Craftique furniture stands for quality without compromises.  Quality is built into each piece of furniture that leaves Craftique’s workshop, quality that you will see and appreciate each time you open a drawer or close a cabinet.

Only the highest grade of cabinet quality mahogany is used to make Craftique furniture.  All components are solid mahogany, including drawer sides and backs, interior posts, and glue blocks.

Extremely tight drawer tolerances of 1/16th of an inch are the standard for Craftique, which are the mark of a truly fine cabinet, and this far exceeds the industry standard.

All lumber is closely examined for similarity in grain, ensuring a uniform look in the finished piece.  This step is almost unheard of in the furniture industry.

The inside surfaces of Craftique case goods are hand rubbed to a lustrous finish by individual craftsmen ensuring that no snags or rough edges can catch clothing or other articles and ensuring a uniform finish inside and out.

When fancy face veneers are used to achieve a design look, only solid mahogany is used as the substrate.  Most other manufacturers use a type of less expensive hardwood or medium density fiberboard to cut down on cost.
