Patron's Bench

Description :
The original 19th century Gothic Revival wooden settee that inspired the Patron's Bench is from the study collection of the Smithsonian Freer Gallery of Art. The original settee, from Mr. Charles Lang Freer’s residence in Detroit, Michigan, was received by the Smithsonian along with the gift of his personal art collection, and was originally used as patron seating in the gallery Mr. Freer funded to house the collection. The Patron's Bench is presented in a Vintage Black finish and features an upholstered seat and a softly shaped back and arms. A crossing pattern of equal arches create an eye-catching pattern that centers the attention on the bench's wooden back.
