Georgetown File Drawer Unit

Description :
The Smithsonian Castle Collection secretary desk that inspired the Georgetown Home Office Group was constructed in Washington, D.C. by a Pennsylvania Avenue cabinetmaker between 1836 and 1839. Designed in the "pillar and scroll" sub-style during the American Classical revival period, the original desk features graceful scroll supports wrapped in richly figured mahogany veneers. The top drawer of the Georgetown File Drawer Unit is fully extendable and features a convenient and removable charging station with receptacle and USB port.
